Primary responsibilities include:

• Provide exceptional customer service to all store customers.
• Assist both retail and wholesale customers with their auto parts questions and needs, either in person, via telephone, or through online ordering.
• Handle cash, credit card, and other purchasing transactions.
• Ensure all invoices are submitted daily or provide an explanation if they are not.
• Collect payment for cash sales transactions (Cash or Credit Card). Customers must sign or print their name on the credit card slip.
• Responsible for the petty cash assigned to you, which must be accounted for daily.
• Charge account customers must sign and print their name on all copies of invoices.
• Operate the store's point of sale system (TAMS) to search for parts, customer accounts, and to invoice and pull orders.
• Pull and prepare inventory orders for customer pickup or delivery.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
• Operate the electronic and paper cataloging systems to retrieve up-to-date parts information.
• Effectively communicate features, benefits, and warranty policy information to customers.
• Demonstrate a positive, helpful attitude, as well as professional conduct and appearance at all times. Refrain from using foul or vulgar language, especially in the presence of customers, employees, or at the front counter.
• Assist with inside and outside store maintenance (e.g., empty trash, sweep or mop floors, stock shelves, clean and straighten shelves, and perform any other tasks as requested by management that are legal, ethical, and moral).
• Assist with deliveries if needed.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of goods to predetermined customers on specific routes, reviewing orders prior to delivery, loading and unloading trucks, and providing exceptional customer service to our client base. Qualifications:

• Clean driving record.
• At least 5 years of driving experience.
• Valid Texas driver’s license.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
• Strong time management skills.
• Responsible for ensuring delivery invoices are handed over to the salesperson.
• Responsible for having all charge invoices signed and submitted.
• Responsible for ensuring all cash transaction invoices are turned in.
• Demonstrate a positive, helpful attitude as well as professional conduct and appearance at all times. Refrain from using foul or vulgar language while at work, especially in the presence of customers, employees, at the front counter, and at customers' places of business.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
• Maintain the vehicle’s appearance, both inside and out (wash the outside and clean the inside).
• Fuel vehicles only at designated gas stations. (Turn in gas receipts and gas cards to management).
• Assist with inside and outside store maintenance (e.g., empty trash, sweep, or mop floors, stock shelves, clean, and straighten shelves, and perform any other tasks requested by management that are legal, ethical, and moral).
• Assist with in-store positions when needed.
